This research focuses on the application of the Business Judgement Rule (BJR) principle in the case of LNG business development by PT Pertamina in the United States involving Karen Agustiawan as President Director. Through a normative juridical approach and qualitative analysis, this study evaluates the extent to which the BJR can protect the board of directors from lawsuits as well as identify the factors that cause the decision not to be protected by the BJR principle. The results of the analysis show that the application of BJR cannot provide legal protection if the business decision is not based on good faith, prudence, and without conflict of interest. In this context, the study also discusses the application of progressive legal theory as an alternative framework for handling this kind of case. The study recommends strengthening regulations to set limits on BJR implementation and ensure transparency in the business decision-making process.
2024-12-16T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Syntax Admirationhttps://jurnalsyntaxadmiration.com/index.php/jurnal/article/view/1641Pengembangan Keterampilan Mengajar dan Sosial Emosional Guru untuk Optimalisasi Pembelajaran2024-12-02T03:46:22+00:00Fifi Juniarti [email protected]
This community service is conducted to address the needs of TK Regina Pacis teachers in understanding the basic principles and various aspects of child development. With the development of data storage technology, many computer users are faced with the choice between SSD and HDD. This research will compare these two storage media in terms of operating system boot performance, with the aim of providing a more appropriate recommendation based on the measured performance. This research is conducted by experimenting on two computers, one that uses SSD and one that uses HDD. Each computer will be tested by booting the same operating system under similar conditions. The boot speed is measured in seconds from the start of the computer until the operating system is ready for use. In addition, special software is used to measure the boot time with high accuracy. The results show that computers with SSDs have much faster boot speeds compared to HDDs. On average, SSDs can complete the boot process in 12-15 seconds, while HDDs take around 30-34 seconds. In addition, the boot time variability of SSDs is lower, indicating a more stable performance compared to HDDs. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the use of SSD significantly improves the boot speed of a computer compared to HDD. Users who want faster system performance, especially in terms of boot time, are recommended to use SSD.
2024-12-19T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Sonny R. This article explores the paradox between the legal and operational status of the vehicle, highlighting the discrepancy between the legality documents and the operational feasibility of the vehicle. Using Sudikno Mertokusumo's theory of legal certainty and Jeremy Bentham's theory of utilitarianism, this analysis seeks to provide recommendations for regulatory adjustments to address these disparities, ensure social justice, and improve compliance with safety and environmental standards. As a result, the application of Article 74 of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Traffic and Road Transportation to motor vehicles with BPKB which is declared "fraudulent" creates a legal dilemma for vehicle owners. Although the vehicle administratively has valid documents, it no longer meets operational standards, which reduces economic value and poses legal challenges for the owner
2024-12-19T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Zaeni Aji Bakhtiarhttps://jurnalsyntaxadmiration.com/index.php/jurnal/article/view/1736Implementasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Nikah Online (Simkah) dalam Administrasi Pernikahan di Kua Kecamatan Bajeng Kabupaten Gowa2024-10-25T15:07:31+00:00Muh. Design Thinking is used because of its user-centric methodology, guaranteeing that LMS apps align with the preferences and behaviors of students who are increasingly relying on mobile devices in their daily routines. Application development goes through the stages of Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test, with validation carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) approach. The assessment involved five students from various academic fields who are proficient in desktop-based Learning Management Systems (LMS). The test results showed a SUS score of 78, categorized as "Good" and close to "Very Good". This score signifies the program's excellent usability, easy navigation, and functions that encourage learning flexibility, including content access, assignment submission, and discussion forums. This study shows that the mobile Learning Management System created using the Design Thinking methodology significantly increases student access to lecture materials and encourages the efficacy of learning in higher education. Suggestions for improvements include conducting assessments with a wider group of participants and implementing design iterations to refine features based on user feedback.

2024-12-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Bosya Perdana, Tata Sutabrihttps://jurnalsyntaxadmiration.com/index.php/jurnal/article/view/1926Comparative Study of C++ and C# Programming Languages2024-12-18T08:09:25+00:00Veny Vita Ponggawa[email protected]Utari B. While both languages are integral to modern software development, they cater to different development environments and paradigms. C++, a general-purpose programming language, is known for its performance efficiency and low-level memory management, making it ideal for system software, embedded systems, and performance-critical applications. In contrast, C#, a high-level language developed by Microsoft, is primarily used in the .NET ecosystem for building Windows applications, web services, and enterprise solutions. This study examines various aspects of both languages, including syntax, memory management, performance, ease of use, and application domains. By analyzing these parameters, the paper aims to provide a comprehensive comparison that highlights the strengths and weaknesses of C++ and C# in different programming contexts. Additionally, the study discusses the role of both languages in modern development environments and their suitability for various types of projects. The findings suggest that while C++ remains the preferred choice for performance-sensitive applications, C# offers a more user-friendly environment for rapid application development, particularly in enterprise and web-based applications.
2024-12-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Veny Vita Ponggawa, Utari B.
